For the third straight year the Gamecocks won 11 games. But that loss to Tennessee stung bad – if they had won that they would have won the East and who knows what would have happened after that. But another trip to the Capitol One Bowl means a great season in Columbia.

Basketball is still rebuilding under Frank Martin.

Another year as a Regional host, and while they made the final it was a disappointing finish losing to Maryland at home.
