Game Day Forecast: Slay the Dragons Edition
Forecast Update: Friday, 9:15 AM
Well it seems that the system has slowed down a little bit from yesterday. This spells bad news for us as that means that the rain will get to us before or even during the game. Now it’s not a certainty, but it’s definitely more likely today than it was yesterday. But still doesn’t look as sure as it did last weekend for the USM game. Also, there will be a slight bump up on the temperatures as we get that warm humid air from the Gulf.

Previous Discussion
Well last week’s Game Day Forecast was certainly a fun forecast to try and do. We ended up getting over 1.5 inches of rain over the day, so we got our money’s worth of rain for the week. Due to some of you saying that you wanted strictly the numbers with not nearly as much discussion, I’ll get right to the nitty gritty. Kickoff is at 1:00 PM CT at Davis Wade Stadium. So we will do a 4 hours prior, 2 hours prior, kickoff, halftime, end of regulation, and two hours afterwards forecast.
It looks like there is a slight possibility of a bubble of energy moving towards Starkville before kickoff. If this becomes true, we may get some drops of rain before the game, but I’m not nearly confident enough to run with that. Everything else is pointing towards us having a dry game [Everyone cheers in the background].
