Dan Mullen was on ESPN College Gameday’s “Coaches Read Mean Tweets” segment this morning. What happened next was pure comedic gold on the part of Dan. During the segment, various coaches around the league read mean tweets directed at them and gave their thoughts afterwards. Dan joined Alabama  Head Coach Nick Saban, Michigan’s Brady Hoke, and Florida’s Will Muschamp; all of which providing various quotables. Dan’s tweet and response, however, catapulted him into internet legend.

The tweet read, “Just finished watching Christmas Vacation with the family. Realized Cousin Eddie is a fictional version of Dan Mullen.” After reading, Dan looks up, shakes his head once, and replies with “Merry Christmas, s***er’s full,” and smiles with the realization of what he just said. That instantly catapulted him into the lead for greatest internet sensation in College Football.
