Week 12 SEC Football Schedule

November 15th

  1. LSU at Arkansas
  2. Auburn at Georgia
  3. Mississippi State at Alabama
  4. South Carolina at Florida
  5. Kentucky at Tennessee
  6. Missouri at Texas A&M

LSU and Arkansas on the third week of November? Looks weird but that’s the way it is now. It was kind of a rivalry with the “golden boot” and all – you have to wonder if it will kind of fade into just another game now. There have been some classics in that series over the years. Even last year when UPig was terrible they gave the Tigahs a run for their money.

Auburn at Georgia is a really interesting game to me. It seems like every year you think one of these two teams is going to be contending for a national title, the other team wins the game that year. So that would mean UGA would win in 2014. We’ll see – the road team seems to always have pretty good success in this series.

Battle of Highway 82 – it’s been kind of a blowout in Tuscaloosa every year since MSU won in 2006. Probably 99 out of 100 people would pick Bama right now…and the week of the game. But you never know.

Spurrier has really even the series for his USC with his alma mater. It’s in Gainesville this year – should be interesting to see if the Gators can bounce back. There is a chance – a small one – that this game could have SEC East implications for both teams.

A bit of a yawn for the other two – but at least it’s a full slate of conference games.
