MSU Drops Game 1 vs. ARK

For the first time all year the Bulldogs failed to score losing 4-0 to Arkansas in Game 1 of a double-header on Saturday.

State’s offense left nine men on base and were unable to capitalize on 10 hits in the game. The Razorbacks’ ace, Jalen Beeks worked around all the base runners in eight innings of work.

Preston Brown was unable to re-create the magic he had in his four previous starts. He gave up 4 runs in five innings of work before giving way to Ben Bracewell who finished the game with four scoreless frames.

MSU is now 18-10 (4-3).
