2014 SEC West Predictions: 6th Texas A&M

March is finally here, and spring practice for most schools is just around the corner. So why not go ahead and predict what each football team will do in 2014? It’s early obviously, and these predictions might change depending on any injuries, suspensions, or dismissals. Up next is 6th place, the Texas A&M Aggies

Texas A&M actually has a decent number of players returning from 2013. The problem is they are losing three likely first round picks in Jake Matthews, Mike Evans, and Johnny Manziel. How will they handle losing all of that production? Let’s take a look at their schedule.

I know a lot of people in the national media are predicting Texas A& M to still finish with eight or nine wins next season, but they are losing some key players, and I just don’t see how they don’t take at least a small step back. If I am right, they end the year at 7-5 overall and a 3-5 SEC Record. It will be good enough to get them to a bowl, but Aggie fans will be disappointed after the previous two years. I will also say this, there games were the toughest to predict. I could see their games against South Carolina, Ole Miss, and LSU going either way. They may surprise me, and end up right in the thick of the SEC West race. As of right now though, I just don’t see it.
