Earlier in the week we told y’all about getting out to Dudy Noble Field on Friday night because ESPN would be filming a special on the Left Field Lounge. Well, due to the weather it looks like that has been moved back to March 1st. Honestly that’s a good thing because it will be a little warmer most likely, it’s a Saturday, and State will be playing two games that day – one vs. Eastern Illinois and one vs. Michigan State – as part of the Diamond Classic.
Sounds like ESPN has re-scheduled their Left Field Lounge shoot for March 1 weekend. Weather is fine in Starkville, but they can’t get here.

They will fly to Houston from New York on Friday, then to Birmingham, then bus the 2+ hours to Starkville to play the game. No word yet if Friday’s start time will be delayed….a decision will likely be made Thursday morning.
Despite the cold, “Cowbell Yell” will still take place Thursday night at 6:00….

HailStateTV will broadcast 29 of MSU’s 35 home games this year. The other six will be broadcast on regular TV.
What is this? Interesting.
