MSU Picks up Three Commits on Sunday

stateThe commits sure came out on Groundhog Day. After only adding one (Darrion Hutcherson) and losing one (Sean Rawlings) in January, MSU added three more to put this class at 21 commits.

  1. J.T. Gray (Athlete) from Clarksdale, MS. 6′-0″, 190 lbs. Rated a 3-star by 247, Scout and Rivals. He was considered a MSU lean for a long time just waiting on an offer, and he gone one.
  2. Elgton Jenkins (OL) from Clarksdale, MS. 6′-5″, 265 lbs. Rated a 3-star by 247, 2-star by Rivals and unrated by Scout. Critical offensive line depth in this class considering the departure of Rawlings – this give MSU three HS O-lineman plus one juco.
  3. Tee Shepard (CB) from Holmes CC. 6′-1″, 195 lbs. Rated a 4-star by 247, Rivals and Scout. Juco transfer who provides even more talent and depth in an already talented and deep cornerback group.

All three of these players took official visits to Mississippi State over the weekend along with MSU OL commit Jordan Harris, Alabama DT commit O.J. Smith and undecided DT Marcus Griffin who will announce his choice on National Signing Day.
