Mississippi State fought hard, as per the usual, but it wasn’t enough to beat an elite Florida team Thursday night in Starkville.

The game was 33-32 with 15 minutes to go, but the Gators went on a 14-2 run from there and finished off the game winning 62-51.

I.J. Ready and Colin Borchert had nice games with 10 and 15 points respectively. Casey Prather led Florida with 13 points. Here is a full recap from Bulldog Blitz.

The Hump was sparsely attended at best.

MSU is now 13-7 (3-4) on the year, 11-2 at home. A trip to Vanderbilt is next: 4:00 on ESPN3.
