State vs. Ole Miss

It’s early in the SEC but the Dawgs already have a huge home game vs. Ole Miss today. It’s a shame it occurs before school starts back, but hopefully a number of students came back a few days early for the game.

Ole Miss will be without Marshall Henderson and his 18 PPG as he serves the final game of his suspension. I’d like to beat them at their best, but I’d also like to beat them so who cares.

MSU has won 14 of the last 15 games in this series at the Hump, and are 27-3 since 1984. Rick Ray pulled off a big win vs. OM last year – one that had them dead as far as an NCAA tourney berth but they won the SEC tournament to go anyway.

The game starts at 3:00 and will be televised by ESPNU. Ole Miss is a one point favorite.
