MSU is 10-3 After Beating Maryland-Eastern Shore

Mississippi State closes out the non-conference slate with a relatively easy win, 77-63 over Maryland-Eastern Shore. Both teams were in maroon and white, and neither played very well in front of a sparsely-populated Humphrey Colesium.

Gavin Ware led the way with a big night – 21 points and 16 rebounds. Fred Thomas was inserted back into the starting lineup with Dre Applewhite leaving the team (transfer) earlier in the week.

Highlights…

MSU is now 10-3 on the year, matching their win total from last season. The first SEC game will be at Kentucky next Wednesday.
