Deontae Skinner closes out a fine career at MSU in 2013. He is a 5th year senior with 34 career starts at outside linebacker.

Skinner was as consistent as any Bulldog over the last three years. His tackle numbers bear that out: 69, 62, 61. He missed a couple of games due to injury late this year, but came back to contribute vs. Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Deontae grabbed his first career interception this year against Alcorn State and first sack at Auburn.

For his career he had 199 tackles, 18.5 TFL 5 passed defended and 3 forced fumbles.

A 3-star out of Macon, MS who committed to Sly Croom in the summer of 2008, he’s developed into a guy who has a future at the next level. 3-year starter, nothing but good things from Deontae Skinner. You’ll be missed, best of luck!
