Rick Ray’s squad took their first loss of the season on Saturday vs. Utah State in Logan, Utah. It was the Dawgs first road game of the year.

MSU got behind early and couldn’t recover. I.J. Ready’s injury taking it’s first real toll on the team as he was missed in this one.

Gavin Ware continues to be a force in the paint – leading the team with 19 points in this one. Colin Borchert had 15 points.

Utah State is a good program, and they improve to 4-0 on the year.

The Bulldogs will lick their wounds and welcome Jackson State to the Hump on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00.
