Mississippi State to Play on CBS vs. Texas A&M

Mississippi State’s game against Texas A&M will be televised via CBS at 2:30 on November 9th. This slot opened up as CBS decided to air the LSU vs. Alabama game at 7:00 PM for the third consecutive year.

I am glad to see us back on the national spotlight game. This will be the first time since playing Arkansas in 2011 that MSU has played on CBS, and 2005 vs. Alabama before that. It didn’t used to be so rare – State played on CBS four times from 1999-2001. Overall, it will be the 7th time (2-4) Mississippi State has played on CBS since the SEC began it’s partnership with the network in 1996 (’98 SEC Championship Game was on ABC).
