MSU is Swept by South Carolina

The Dawg’s trip to Columbia, SC proved to be a very bad one. Entering the weekend State was tied for 8th in the SEC overall standings, now they are 11th.

The one that got away was Friday night’s game. State was up 6-3 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th when things came unglued, and the Gamecocks scored four runs to take the lead, and ultimately win 7-6. MSU fell behind on Saturday 5-0…they came back a little to late and lost 5-3. A 9th inning rally turned up short on Sunday as well as USC won 6-4.
